Practical record

Menard's older agricultural policy predates the bee provision.

Menard's public forms library links an agricultural policy revised September 8, 2011.35 That document predates the beekeeping provision that took effect in 2012, so its livestock sections do not supply a bee stocking schedule.4

For an existing Menard bee exemption, keep the property's later approval or bee-specific correspondence with the year's records. That avoids confusing an older general agricultural policy with the requirements applied to your established apiary.

A few Menard County questions.

Should Menard's 2011 livestock acreage rules be used as a bee minimum?

No. The document predates the bee provision and does not establish a bee-specific stocking rule.

Can my beekeeper’s records be part of the packet?

Yes. Keep dated service notes that identify your Menard County property, the active-colony count, and the work completed. Add the relevant agreement or lease.
